Abstract
Artykuł dotyczy sposobów ujmowania zjawisk kulturowych w procesie glottodydaktycznym. Istotną częścią tego procesu jest kształcenie kompetencji interkulturowej, ważne są zatem koncepcje uczenia kultury, kryteria doboru zagadnień i ich egzemplifikacje. W tej perspektywie bezcennym źródłem wiedzy kulturowej stają się teksty literackie, co prezentuję na przykładzie wiersza De pas- sage à Paris Stanisława Balińskiego.
The article discusses various ways of approaching cultural phenomena in the process of foreign language teaching. The key element of the teaching process is the creation of the intercultural competence – for that reason the concepts of teaching culture, that is the criteria for selecting issues to be presented, as well as the usage of examples are very important. In this perspective, various pieces of literature are an invaluable source of cultural knowledge. As an example, I present a poem by Stanisław Baliński, titled De passage à Paris.
