Abstract
Celem artykułu jest zwrócenie uwagi na problem kompetencji służb społecznych i rozwoju profesji społecznych odpowiadających wyzwaniom przyszłości. Zmiany społeczne i cywilizacyjne oraz rosnące aspiracje społeczeństwa wymagają nowych usług społecznych, a także nowych profesji społecznych. Kompetencje pracowników sektora usług społecznych muszą być dostosowane do współczesnych wyzwań demograficznych i społecznych. Prowadzone analizy wskazują, jakich kompetencji brakuje w dzisiejszym systemie pomocy społecznej oraz jakie trzeba rozwijać.
The aim of the article is to draw attention to the competences of social services and the development of new social professions corresponding to the social challenges of the future. Social and civilization changes and the growing aspirations of society require the development of new social services as well as new social professions. The competences of workers in the social services sector must be adapted to the new demographic and social challenges. The analysis unveils competences that are missing in the social welfare system today and those that need to be developed.
