Abstract
Artykuł zawiera przekład na język polski ósmego dialogu ze zbioru Corpus Hermeticum. Translacja opatrzona jest wstępem i komentarzem zawierającym również łacińską wersję tekstu pochodzącą z piętnastego wieku. Treść Corpus Hermeticum VIII nawiązuje do kwestii pojmowania śmierci. Tekst zawiera w sobie komponenty zarówno proweniencji platońskiej, jak i stoickiej, wskazując jednocześnie, że żaden byt nie podlega anihilacji.
The article contains a Polish translation of the eighth dialogue from the Corpus Hermeticum collection. The translation has an introduction and commentary that includes a Latin version of the text from the fifteenth century. The content of Corpus Hermeticum VIII refers to the concept of death. The text contains components of both Platonic and Stoic provenance, at the same time indicating that no being is subject to annihilation.
