Dlatego potrzeba interdyscyplinarnych refleksji teologicznej i pedagogicznej wychodzących z podstaw filozoficznych pozwalających przyjąć adekwatną antropologię oraz psychologicznych, by właściwie wspomagać integralny rozwój i wychowania osoby. Celem publikacji jest zatem ukazanie tej szerokiej perspektywy integralnego wychowania w różnych środowiskach funkcjonowania człowieka ze wskazaniem najpierw ogólnych jego podstaw i celu, jakim jest integralny rozwój osoby, by podkreślić konieczność i wartość harmonijnego ujęcia wymiaru teologicznego i pedagogicznego. Wskazując na bogactwo wartości, treści oraz konkretnych działań wspierających integralny rozwój osoby w wychowaniu, nie pominięto także zagrożeń i uwarunkowań niesprzyjających realizacji jego celów. W kontekście istotnych elementów procesu wychowania i jego wielorakich uwarunkowań przedstawiono przykłady realizacji działań edukacyjnych, duszpasterskich uwzględniając aspekt historyczny, badawczy, formacyjny, praktyczny.An integral vision of the human being as a person, of the society as a community, along with the stability of underlying principles are the most characteristic features of Catholic pedagogy. Therefore, there is a need for interdisciplinary theological and pedagogical reflection, founded on philosophical grounds, in order to develop an adequate anthropological stance for Catholic pedagogy. There is also a need for psychological research to properly support the integral development and education of the human person. The aim of this publication is, therefore, to outline this broad research perspective on integral education, practiced in diverse environments of human functioning. First of all, the general foundations and the goal of integral development of the person are indicated, with emphasis on the need for a harmonious approach to its theological and pedagogical dimensions. By pointing out the richness of values, educational content and real-life practice supporting the integral development of a person, the publication also addresses threats and unfavourable conditions for the achievement of these educational goals.
