Mantyk, Tomasz K.2026-02-192026-02-192026https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12153/9312In the early 16th century Erasmus of Rotterdam revived the genre of biblical paraphrase. His work found both critics and imitators. This file presents a collation of chosen fragments (Mt 16, J 6, Gal, James) of paraphrases of Erasmus as well as those of Frans Titelmans, his opponent and simultaneously imitator. The aim of such a collation is to expose philological and theological similarities and differences between these two authors. This dataset was used by the author in preparation of scholarly articles (about to be published in Biblical Annals, Erasmus Studies and Theology & Sexuality) and are made available to academic community for further analyses.enAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Frans TitelmansErasm of Rotterdambiblical paraphrasesbiblical humanism16th century exegesisCollations of chosen fragments of biblical paraphrases of Erasmus of Rotterdam and Frans TitelmansDataset
