These possibilities are discussed on the example of an application designed and tested at the University of Science and Technology (AGH), which allows candidates to be presented with recommended fields of study, tailored to their preferences, predispositions, plans related to studies, and professional career. The tool is designed to facilitate decision making, indicate the potential of a given field of study, and reduce the burden related to the selection process and its complexity. The article presents the assumptions that were used to build the concept of the tool, its elements, and functionalities. Możliwości te omówiono na przykładzie projektowanej i testowanej w AGH aplikacji pozwalającej na przedstawianie kandydatom na studia rekomendowanych kierunków, dopasowanych do ich preferencji, predyspozycji, planów związanych ze studiami i karierą zawodową.
