Abstract
We wstępie została zarysowana problematyka pracy, uzasadniono temat, omówiono źródła, metody badawcze i strukturę rozprawy. Rozdział pierwszy rozstrzyga problem niejednoznaczności pojęć: emocje i uczucia. W trzecim rozdziale opisano zagrożenia i wyzwania wobec dojrzałości uczuciowej alumna.
The purpose of the dissertation was to describe the signs of emotional maturity required of a candidate to be ordained at the stage of initial formation. The introduction outlines the issues of work, substantiated the subject, discussed sources, research methods and the structure of the dissertation. The first chapter resolves the problem of ambiguity concepts: emotions and feelings. The main concepts of their genesis and scope of influence in the context of the integral definition of human person were presented. The second chapter presents selected concepts and psychological definitions indicating the significant properties of sentimental (emotional) maturity. Then, an analysis of theological sources allowed us to outline the premises regarding the features of emotional maturity that a candidate in priesthood formation should have. Proprietary classification of features was proposed, and a criterion was presented to determine whether a candidate had achieved sufficient emotional maturity. The author also proposed his own definition of the emotional maturity of a candidate for ordination. The third chapter describes threats and challenges to emotional maturity alumna. Socio-cultural conditions have been outlined. Modern youth and selected factors that may affect their spiritual and mental weakness have been characterized. The spectrum of problems encountered by seminarians and factors that may affect the inefficiency of the alumna formation process in the field of development of emotional maturity are described. The last chapter contains specific pastoral guidelines for initial and permanent formation, so that the process of development towards the emotional maturity of a candidate for the priesthood is as effective as possible. The conclusion describes the conclusions and the usefulness of the issues under consideration for those responsible for bringing up and admitting candidates to ordination.
