Abstract
Edmund Bojanowski (1814-1871) stworzył w XIX wieku dynamiczny, spójny, otwarty system pomocy dziecku i rodzinie o szerokim i zintegrowanym zakresie działania. To system wsparcia, który z jednej strony otwarty jest na zmiany adaptacyjne wywołane przez czynniki zewnętrze i wewnętrzne, a z drugiej stabilny, zachowujący swą tożsamość w zmieniających się warunkach społeczno-kulturowych i historyczno-politycznych. Dla zapewnienia stałości i jakości tak rozumianego wsparcia zaangażował ochroniarki - Siostry Służebniczki BDNP, które zajmowały się wychowaniem dzieci, przestrzegając w tym najdrobniejszych szczegółów. Czyniły to poprzez osobisty przykład, przekaz wartości, podawane treści, umiejętnie dobrane metody i środki wychowania, odpowiednio dostosowane do wieku i możliwości dziecka oraz stałą współpracę z jego rodziną. Również opiekowały się chorymi i ubogimi, a pracą zarabiały na własne utrzymanie. Siostry podjęły ideę niesienia pomocy społeczeństwu przez społeczeństwo, uwzględniając najszczytniejsze cele oraz wykorzystując wszelkie zasoby dla ich realizacji, co z powodzeniem czynią przez 170 lat.
In the XIXth century Edmund Bojanowski (1814-1871) created a dynamic, coherent and open system of child and family support with the wide and integrated range of activities. From the one side this system of support is open to the adaptive changes brought about by external and internal factors, and from the other it is stable and maintains its identity in the changing social, cultural, historical and political conditions. The Little Servant Sisters of the Immaculate Conception were engaged to guarantee consistency and quality of this kind of support. They took care of child upbringing, observing the smallest details. They did it by personal example, transfer of the values, conveyed messages, carefully chosen upbringing methods and measures, adjusted to the child age and its abilities as well as by constant cooperation with its family. Moreover, they looked after the sick and the poor and simultaneously earned their living. Taking into consideration the sublime objectives and using all possible resources to achieve them, the sisters undertook the idea of helping the community through the community. This idea has been developed successfully for 170 years.
