Abstract
Niniejsza dysertacja porusza temat organistów, którzy pracowali w diecezji lubelskiej w latach 1918-1992. Opisywane wydarzenia rozpoczynają się w chwili odzyskania przez Polskę niepodległości, a kończą w momencie przekształcenia diecezji lubelskiej w archidiecezję. Znajdują się w niej liczne odniesienia do historii zawodu organisty, szczególnie na ziemiach polskich, a także specyfiki grupy, której cechą charakterystyczną było powoływanie organizacji zawodowych oraz praca na rzecz integracji swojego środowiska. Główną metodą, zastosowaną w pracy, jest prozopografia, tzn. studium biografii zbiorowej organistów. Pierwszy rozdział prezentuje historię diecezji lubelskiej oraz jej strukturę dekanalną i parafialną, kształtującą się w latach wskazanych w tytule pracy. Kolejny rozdział omawia organizacje organistowskie, powstałe w XX wieku. Rozdziały trzeci i czwarty poświęcono studiom prozopograficznym omawianej grupy w podanym przedziale czasowym. Szerzej omówiono szkoły kształcące organistów oraz porównano je z kształceniem w innych diecezjach. Ostatni rozdział zawiera informacje o pracy i obowiązkach organistów w diecezji lubelskiej. Poruszono w nim także kwestię ubezpieczeń w omawianych latach. Praca została uzupełniona o 8 map historycznych, 1 schemat, 45 tabel i 9 wykresów, a także 5 aneksów.
This dissertation raise the subject of organists who worked in the Lublin diocese in the years 1918-1992. The described events begin when Poland regains independence and end when the diocese of Lublin transforms into an archdiocese. There are a lot of references to the history of the organist's profession, especially in the Polish lands, as well as the specificity of the group, whose characteristic feature was the appointment of professional organizations and work to integrate their profession. The main method used in the thesis is prozopy, i.e. a study of the collective biography of organists. The first chapter presents the history of the Lublin diocese and her decanal and parish structure, created in the years indicated in the title of the thesis. The next chapter discusses about organist organizations created in the 20th century. The third and fourth chapters are devoted about prozopographic studies of the discussed group in the given time interval. Organizing schools for organists are discussed in more detail and compared to education in other dioceses. The last chapter contains information about the work and duties of the organists in the Lublin diocese. This chapter fill in information about insurance of organists in the years 1918-1992. The thesis was completed with 8 historical maps, one diagram, 45 tables and 9 charts, as well as five annexes.
