The article analyses John Paul II's homilies and conferences delivered in Poland during papal pilgrimages. The Holy Father showed Polish youth a new perspective of the vocation to love. We also see a papal diagnosis of threats - external and internal - emanating from various distorted and falsified patterns. Analysing all the statements, we can see that John Paul II not only encouraged attempts to talk about multidimensional maturation, but paid particular attention to the necessity of undertaking the toil of self-education.
